Results
So yes the yard sale went better than expected. And yes we will probably do another one in like 5 years when I have accumulated more stuff. We ended up with some spending cash for Oregon and a cleaned out house. So all in all it turned out well. And I am once again content to vacum as I please! :)

Yard Sale!!
So tomorrow is the big yard sale day and I can't wait for it to be over, even if we sell nothing! This is one of those new things we decided to try out. I 'm loving the fact that once it is over, my house is so cleaned out. But right now with everything piled in the living room, (as it has been for the last few weeks) I'm going a little crazy. For those of you who don't know me all that well, I'm kind of OCD about my house. Needless to say my whole family will be glad when their mom can happily vacum her floor again. Kaitlyn seems to be loving the idea because she and her best friend Lydia have decided to do a bake sale tomorrow as well. She is super excited. Her Papa already came and bought a bunch of stuff early. I hope they sell a few things. All in all we will see how it goes but at least my house is thoroughly cleaned out. Stay tuned for the results!!!

St. Patricks Day
So today at the PTO meeting Ethan told me he needed to use the restroom. After we were done and were washing our hands he proceedes to tell a lady in the restroom that because it is Stake conference day he had to wear green or else people will pinch you.
I tried to laugh quietly to myself at his misuse if St. Patricks day. But I thought it was all very cute.
So all of you beware and remember to wear green to our next stake conference. Or my little leprechan will get you. :)

Little Boys!
The other day I went to Wal-Mart to return a dress that I had bought for Kaitlyn. As we walked into the store, the lady who was helping me started teasing the boys by patting them on the head and saying "Okay did you want to return this one or this one." I laughed and said "No they are far too expensive, but we will return this dress."
As we walked away Ethan looked at me and asked "Mom am I a grocery?, because I don't want to stay here and live at Wal-Mart!" I got a good laugh out of that one and assured him that no he is not a grocery and he is coming home with me.
Kids say the cutest things! :)

Projects, Projects, Projects!!!
So here a while ago I had this great friend tell me you know you would have so much more room down here in your basement if you just took out this wall. So that very night Thad and I started pulling the wall down. Little did we know what that would start. But after renting a jack hammer, rebuilding a different wall, rewiring the electricity, adding more lighting and with the help of that same great friend a lot of painting. We have the most beautiful comfortable basement imaginable. We love the extra space and the brightness from the new paint job. Thanks Gwen for the great idea and all of the help you are awesom and I love ya. :)
Quick Update!
Family Photo 2010
Hi everybody this is just a quick update to say that yes we are still here and doing well. I loved this family photo for numerous reasons. 1. It was unplanned and everyone looks great. 2. Thad and I took this picture ourselves ( we sure do love having a timer on the camera) 3. The weather was perfect and the leaves beautiful 4. Everyone was smiling and happy.
I'm posting this so you can see how big my kids are growing. I have come to realize lately that our family is growing up right under my nose. Kaitlyn will turn 8 this year and that is kind of a big deal. Thad and I can't believe we have a child old enough to be baptized. We are so grateful for our family and our blessings.
